Post Guild Ranks
REVISED 11/2/09

Here at <The Shadow> we are a closed Raiding Guild devoted exclusively with the hardcore raider in mind. Below is a breakdown of the guild rankings and I expect that respect to be given to your direct superiors in the guild, as well as to treat each other with respect. You’re all guild-mates so act like it. It is only possible to progress when doing so as a Team and a whole, not as an individual.

1. Groupies
This Rank is for people who are just here as friends or family are are not here for raiding. This rank does not have access to view the Gbank.

2. BACKUP RAIDER
If you are a BACKUP RAIDER rank, it is a prerequisite to the raiding rank. As a backup raider you should be on at 7pm and ready to raid even if you aren't selected to come to the raid. You will still acquire attendance for the night even if you aren't selected for the raid group just for being available. Once you acquire 75% attendance rate, you will be promoted to a raider and get loot priority and possibly a status raid spot although this is not guarenteed. Backup raiders may also request items from the GBANK from an officer but it you aren't necessarily guaranteed to get what you need.

3. RAIDER
This is the active raider rank. This rank identifies that you have your heart set on raiding and have suitable attendance. You also are able to access Tab 1 of our Guild bank. Tab one is an open tab for the Raider rank to share items freely. Anyone can contribute/use what is in there up to a maximum of 5 stacks per day. To retain this rank you must have good attendance and be able to show that you know your class and spec inside and out. If you are ever not able to attend a raid, you need to let either the GM or an officer know 48 hours in advance using the forums. Unexcused Lates and/or absences are subject to a double attendance loss for the night. If you drop below 75% attendance for any night you will be demoted backup raider, losing your loot priority and guaranteed raid spot.

4. SHADOW COUNCIL
At this level you are also able to recruit new members to the guild by using the /ginvite <target> command. This rank is assigned to players who are the most knowledgeable about their particular class and raiding in general. They are there to report to the GM on issues within a particular character class and making sure that all guild members of that particular class can come to you with spec and gearing questions. Shadow Council are also the deciding factor on all loot allocations in the guild raids using the /o officer channel.

5. SHADOW LEADER
This rank is also a member of shadow/loot council but tends to take on additional responsibilities such as organizing raids and keeping the guild running smoothly. This is a capable rank that means they have skills in leadership and loot distribution. This rank may hand out loot in guild runs but still must follow the decision if the loot council as a whole.

6. CO-MASTER (INACTIVE)
This is considered to be the highest officer rank in the guild. These ranks have Full Control of the guild and can decide a majority of guild related decisions on their own. People at this rank should be considered Guild Founders.

7. GUILD MASTER
This is the guild leader. All major guild decisions come through this rank. The Guild Master has final say on everything from new guild direction, raid progression and raid loot. The GM decisions made on loot allocation are non contestable and has the permission to overturn any Loot Council decision.

OTHER RANKS

ALT
This is the rank that all secondary characters will be kept on regardless of level
